Art Goodtimes is a poet, writer, artist and County Commissioner who lives in Norwood, CO. Art has a proven record of working with disparate parties to bring resolution to difficult and often contentious issues. See his Leadership Roles, across the County, State, and Nation HERE Having been a San Miguel County Commissioner for three terms, he knows the ropes. For San Miguel County, there's never been a more important time to place experience first. Art is the only Green Party commissioner currently elected to office in the inner basin West. Founder of the San Juan Fens Partnership and advocate of intergovernmental cooperation, he is involved in a number of collaborative processes, including the Public Land Partnership, the Western Colorado Congress and the Burn Canyon Monitoring Task Force. He also serves on the National Association of Counties Public Lands Steering Committee, and was twice appointed to the BLM’s Southwestern Colorado Resource Advisory Council.
